Craig Wilgenbusch – mild-manner engineer by day.  Food and entertainment obsessed guy by night (and days on weekends).   This is me and this is my entertaining and food blog!  I’ve been pestered for over a year to create it, but  I have a sneaking suspicion it’s because people just got sick of seeing my crazed food pictures and ramblings on facebook and were just hoping to quarantine them to a blog.

Well, they got what they asked for and it’s a win-win situation if you ask me.  I LOVE DOING THIS!  I  love cooking good meals and then inviting my friends over to act as guinea pigs.  I’m usually a neurotic wreck when I have friends over to try something I’ve made for the first time, which is often and the usual case, but no one ever learned anything new without taking a risk right?  And I like sharing new discoveries and what I’m passionate about.  I get such a big kick out of having a house full of a great mix of good friends who are having a good time and are getting to know someone they might have just met.

There’s much more to know about me than what’s above.  It usually becomes all apparent when you spend an evening or two at my place.  I’m the product of a Navy family who lived on both coasts and in Spain and Italy, the youngest child of 4, an engineering education (BS and MS in EE), and 11 years in the Navy as an Active duty Surface Warfare and Engineering Duty Officer.  Combine all this with being a full on Leo, well you get this blog, my pictures, and some wild parties and (hopefully) great food.  Hope to see you at my place soon!

PS Please forgive my writing skills.  I be “enganeer.”  (My apologies to Ms. O’Clisham and my liberal arts teachers of UVA…the force is strong with the engineer types.)
